Quitting insanity

I need help! I am considering quitting insanity with only 2 weeks left. I saw no results and everyone kept telling me to wait until month two. I also tried upping my calories and that didn't seem to work. I only have 2 weeks left and really want to finish but I feel like I am wasting my time especially with only 4 weeks until vacation. I have not lost a pound and although I didn't take measurements I don't think I lost inches. My clothes don't fit any better and in all honesty I think I may have gained weight. My issue is my stomach and my "love handles"I am debating going back to running and adding in a core workout DVD. Any suggestions?? Also if I wasn't eating enough....what do I need to do to jumpstart my metabolism??

Oh, this story sounds all too familiar. I had the same issue and unfortunately, I did quit due to lack of results as well as my knees friggin killing me. . I am not saying you should at all. It's seriously up to you, but you only have TWO weeks left. I suggest you just finish it out. You may not have seen the changes you would have hoped for, but I can almost guarantee you that your endurance has sky rocketed since beginning the program. I also suggest giving the Insanity/P90X hybrid a shot when you are done with Insanity. Like you, I had no real changes with plain ole' Insanity so I switched to the hybrid, which added some strength training in and now I am definitely seeing results, not so much on the scale BUT more so measurements0 -
Have you tried having a green smoothie ( not juice) for breakfast or lunch each day? My friend has lost a lot just doing that swap.0

Honestly. I don't think anyone can make that choice but you. I would be so excited if I was so close to finishing something, but if my mind wasn't in the right space, I'm sure that it would keep me from celebrating properly. All I can tell you is to think about it really hard before you make any quick decisions. That being said if you do decide to try something else, I would recommend ballet. It really helped to slim down my midsection quickly and REALLY made me sweat. Something to consider. But really think hard about this.0

I also forgot to mention that this week the workouts seemed to be getting harder rather than easier. I actually considered quitting in the middle of the workout the other morning and then finishing when I got home at night. So frustrating!0

If you don't mind me asking, what is your nutrition like on an average day? I've been a part of a few challenge groups over the last 2 years and over 90% of the time someone said they weren't seeing changes, we were able to identify problems in their nutrition. Especially since you mentioned that the workouts seem to be getting harder. It sounds like your energy levels are not where they need to be which could be due to not eating enough...eating too much...or eating the wrong things. I only ask because I truly want to help you. I don't want to see you quit insanity then simply quit your health all together. Help me to help you identify any problem areas and I promise you we can get you where you want to be.0
