I'm going to start P90X July 1st. Kind of shy when it comes to weights and I'm told that is what I need to add to the cardio. Any advice or people who have been successful with P90X?

First of all. You have a beautiful smile!
Secondly and down to business... You need to make sure to press play. It will be the hardest thing going into each day. Just press play, you'll see Tony talk and you'll start going at it with the warmups. Years ago I did do p90x and trust me, it did in fact work. Keep a detailed log to measure what you are doing per day. It's detrimental that you do so! The weights are definitely apart of the program. With some exercises you can compensate a lack of weights by using a resistance band. It was a life savor for me considering I don't have a pullup bar.
And thirdly, please please please please please keep the diet on point!!!!!
You'll be fine trust me, just press play and go !!!!
(you don't need to do anything extra than the p90x when you start, don't go crazy and do your own 1hr treadmill cardio on the weekends -- if you do, you won't make it out of the week, the programs become tougher... i.e plylometrics)

Thank you! I think diet is my biggest issue, but I'm needing to make changes and I'm ready.0

You will use weights but not as much as for example Body Beast. You won't become all big with muscles don't worry.
Muscles burn fat remember this so...by raising your muscle level you will lose more fat and you will get lean mass.
P90X is awesome for that...It will make you stronger everywhere.
Awesome abs workout, great core and back programs...good for arms and legs too.
You will stretch with stretching and yoga,,,, And there's a couple of cardio workout.
Like it was said before me.... Yes, you need dedication and must press play....Yes, it's hard, yes it's not short BUT...it will give you results that's for sure!

I was skeptical of doing p90x but once I got through the 1st 3 months I kept doing more and more rounds:) it is a great program, muscle confusion is key. Follow your schedule and eat clean and you wi do great. There's modifications they show u for some stuff to help u if need be. Just keep pushing play!!! Good luck0
