I just begin Insanity and there is a nutrition plan that comes with it...Well I tried to follow it and I happened to eat cold cottage cheese + blueberries + whole grain cereal. I can't stand the taste of cold cottage cheese (i'm usually not a picky eater...) .
I wanted to know if some of you have better recipes with cottage cheese. I can't deny it is full of proteins and low in fat!
Please share your secrets with me!!!!

I've never heard of eating cottage cheese anything but cold! In fact the thought of eating it warm turns my stomach0

Yikes, I can't imagine eating it warm.
I do do cottage cheese pancakes, which are basically cottage cheese, ground flaxseed, oatmeal, and eggs. They're kinda blah on their own but I have them with applesauce and it's nummy.0 -
If you prefer it warm, why not just warm it? Stir it into warm food?0

What about quark instead? It's another low-fat cheese with a similar calorie count, but the texture is very different to cottage cheese. I eat it almost daily!0

In fact I usually eat it in pasta recipes with spinach and tomato sauce!!0

I eat cottage cheese for lunch just about everyday (during the week) all by it self. I love it. I had a friend that mixed pineapple in his. I like both but together wasnt for me. It might be good to you though. I have a fatty liver and have read studies where cottage cheese helps reverse it. Something in the whey. No one else in my family likes it, but I grew up with it. Not sure how else you could eat it. Put it in a smoothie maybe.0

Oh, if potatoes aren't a no-no for you it goes really well with potatoes instead of sour cream.0

There is a huge thread somewhere with hundreds of ideas for eating cottage cheese. I have used several of the ideas from it to increase my cottage cheese intake. Cottage cheese is also the food highest in casein protein, which is great if you're lifting.0

I like beating it into my scrambled eggs before I cook it.
Makes your eggs cheesier and more moist. It's awesome.0 -

that's what i do when i don't just use it as veggie dip...
but, i always get the nordica 2% - anything lower in fat i find has no flavour distinction from cardboard...
was surprised at the sodium content though...0
