I love cheese...I've just found I eat different types more now...more feta, less shredded mexican cheese haha....but I still eat that too...if it's in your calorie goals and gives you protein and calcium and that type of goodness...who cares? I say just watch the amount, eat in moderation and opt for 'better' versions when you can

My life without feta would seem meaningless.

I not only have cheese everyday, but practically with every meal. Today alone I had a cheese omelet, cheese on my spaghetti, cheese and tuna with crackers, and cheesecake. Those were all 4 of my meals. I've been losing fat steadily and am currently wearing the smallest clothes I have ever worn in my adult life.

    I love cheese!

As long as you aren't making yourself ill with too much sodium or fat from it, go nuts and eat all the cheese you like!

Cheese is my crack. Its in the same area as peanut butter for me (all nut butters actually.)

Its hard to stop. The fat, the protein, the SHEER JOY...

Ever since I started doing this MFP thing, I stopped eating cheese. i actually had a delicious chunk of pepperjack mold while I neglected it.

So, keep it in small doses. Its heaven on earth. Cheese...a gift from the cow gods.

No food is inherently bad. Plus, cheese is delicious.

    ahem

The biggest issue there is that it has cucumbers on it.

I love cheese also. On our reduce weight quest we must monitor how much we take in.. I personally keep weight watchers string cheese on hand.. If you are having a meatless meal cheese is a good protein. I am not a milk drinker. So I pick up my calcium with some cheese in moderation. Best wishes. Sharan G.

I have feta cheese once in a while. It packs a lot of flavor in just a few calories.

Is it white cheese? I was told that white cheese has less fat. So I stick to white cheese.

If it fits in your calories, then go for it. Yes, cheese has fat but it also has protein, calcium and vitamins, so I think a little bit every day is not bad.

Woo hoo aged extra sharp NY style cheddar cheese here I come! Well, not to be the technical boring one in the bunch, but all cheese is white actually. Most European style cheese is white it's just us crazy Americans who think it needs to be yellow. Even blue is a white cheese covered with blue mold.

Hi guys! So I eat one slice of Tilamook Medium Cheddar Cheese almost every single day in a sandwich. It has 110 calories, which is a lot for a small amount of cheese, but it gives me a lot of protein and filling fat. Is cheese bad for you, or is cheddar cheese bad? Should I stop eating cheese so frequently? What do you guys do(:

Reason I'm not advocating dumping cheese entirely: Cheese comes from milk. Milk = calcium, protein, and some good vitamins.

There are two ways you could look at this. Either eat the cheese in smaller amounts or less frequently, OR look for low-fat/fat-free alternatives.

All I can say is, NOW I WANT CHEESE.
I agree, cheese is delicious. If you enjoy eating it, eat it! If it fits into your macros, don't worry about it! I have ice cream almost every night. No shame! I make sure it fits into my macros, because I love it.

    Cheese? Sure! :-)
I treat it as a controlled substance -- usually have 2 oz. of sharp cheddar when it's part of a meal. I just make sure I stay within my macros.

    1 serving a day isn't bad at all! ;)
