What programs do y'all recommend?

I'm a somewhat-beginner to working out. I'm going to be walking, like, a LOT with the new dog we're adopting (husky/pit mix, so he's going to have LOTS of energy to burn off). But I was wondering if there's any programs you swear by? Either DVDs or youtube, whichever. I don't have a gym membership, and probably won't get one - living on a budget - so I need things to do besides that and walking.

  • Try Level 1 of Jillian Michael's 30 day shred - all you need is handweights and a matt. When I was first losing weight, I found it was an easy program that I eventually mastered. I spent about a month and a half at level 1, did level 2 for a bit, but never actually made it to level 3 :( (that's when I started to put weight back on).

    P90X, I was a non-believer, lazy as hell too, but stuck to the diet to a T and got great results!
