NSV: Jeans

For the past 6 months I've been doing everything possible to avoid buying new clothes. I knew that I would have to at some point, but as exciting as it is to update the old wardrobe, and dump all of the "big" clothes, I have been trying to pace myself so that I don't have to buy new stuff over and over again. The downside to that has been swimming in most of the clothes that I have. On Friday I decided to try on a few pair of jeans to get an idea of where I am at. When I started working on getting healthier I wore a size 44. Going into the store I was pretty confident that I could fit a size 40, and was hoping that I could possibly squeeze into a 38. I was able to find plenty 40's and thought that would be good enough. I scared myself a little bit thinking about trying to squeeze into a 38, so when I couldn't locate one, I was ready to just go for the 40's. But just as I was feeling confident about the 40 I noticed the 38 staring at me, right in front of my face! Without any deliberation I grabbed the 38 as well and ran to the dressing room before I could change my mind. Once in the dressing room, I figured that I would just get it over with and try the 38. Besides, it probably wasn't going to fit anyway. To my surprise... they were TOO BIG!!!! I didn't know what to do! I eventually came to my senses and went to grab a 36. I think I actually floated back over to the rack, and blacked out on my way back to the dressing room. When I came to, I found myself standing in front of a mirror wearing a size 36 pair of jeans, that fit like a glove!
I'll say it again.... I WEAR A SIZE 36!!!!

Depending on how far you have to go, you may be able to ger away with only 2 pais of trours for now.
My theory is you can be wearing clothes that are up to two sizes too big, but thee looks silly, ( i tried the other day and got called M.C.hammer.)0 -
