Not Losing Any Weight

I weigh myself almost daily, same time every day. Pre and Post BM. I like to track the weight of my movements.
For the past several months I have fluctuated in the same 5 pound range. I have not gained or lost really much of anything. Granted my tracking lately has been poor at best, and most days I haven't been really at all.
A few weeks ago I had to buy a new belt, I had a size 38? one, but I had to get a 34 one now. (I'm not really into all the belt sizes).
I was only able to get it in the first hole. Yesterday I pulled and it went to the 2nd hole.
Still no weight loss. I'm lifting and running. Just busy being awesome. Have fun mfp party people.

If you are counting anything that isn't water as water, that is why you aren't losing weight.0

Glad to read this. I've had no loss in 2 months. Getting frustrated! Congrats on the movement (physically) even if the scale isn't moving!!! Good for you!0

Try taking measurements every couple weeks. You may not see weight drops but it definitely sounds like you are losing inches. Also getting back to thoroughly tracking may help with the weight loss as well. You need to be eating less than burn. So if you're on say 1600 calories and burn 250 with exercise, shoot to hit just the 1600 80% of the time. Good luck!0
-
But you didn't loose any weight on the scale so it's kind of meaningless!!! Good luck in the future!0
-
I always brag about putting it in the second hole.
Congratulations!0 -
fatty! go suck on a keytone for God's sake.0

Muscle weighs more then fat! Way to go girl!!! Sometimes the scale can be misleading! It is not a deal breaker for me as long as my clothes are fitting better then thats the main thing! Keep up the good work and feel free to add me!0

This made me laugh, almost got in trouble!
You're such a pretty girl, Bill. I would totally date,bang or marry you!0 -
Sounds like you're gaining fat. Stop eating carbs and sodium. Egg whites and raspberry ketones are your friends here.
ETA: Apparently people don't get sarcasm here.0 -

Ummmmmmm.....belts stretch once you've had them on a bit.:ohwell:
You've said your logging is poor - I think that there's your problem. I can't speak for everyone, but I've found if I don't log everything (exercise AND food/drink) its really easy to go "Oh, I did go up some stairs earlier so i won't count that square of chocolate", "I didn't fill that glass all the way up so I'll just top it up a little", "I'm going to do that exercise DVD tonight so i can have a packet of crisps" and ta-da! Over calories limit by 250 calories.
Try logging everything for 4 weeks, then weigh yourself. If you don't have a food scale, do get one - pasta, cereal, slice of cake - impossible to judge weight (and therefore calories) without!
Then come back and tell us how much you've lost this month0 -

Granted my tracking lately has been poor at best, and most days I haven't been really at all.
Don't you think the statement above is the most likely reason?0 -

Ignore this unless you know you're eating too much of any one food group. A calorie is a calorie, the difference being in nutritional benefits (protein etc good, trans fats bad, for example). And don't waste the egg yolk - a whole egg is only 60-70 calories and the yolk has most of the benefits.
Eat at a deficit and you will lose weight. Even if you eat 2000 calories a day of doughnuts, if you expend 2500 calories in activity you will lose weight!0 -
If you're poopin'...you're doing it wrong.0

is it perhaps a grundleberry? or a plaxitosis?
whats the name for the weight of my muscle that weighs more than a pound of fat?
Thanks!0 -

I'm pretty sure what people mean by this, is that a pound of muscle takes up less space than a pound of fat. Or, if you had a chunk of muscle and a chunk of fat that were the same size visually, that the muscle would weigh more than the fat because it is more dense tissue.
So the equal VOLUME of muscle will weigh more than equal VOLUME of fat... or a pound of fat will have more volume than a pound of muscle.
Muscle weighs more than fat PER VOLUME (not per pound).0
