I know that splurging is something everyone does but how many of you have been successful in still losing weight or maintaining their weight when they splurge (i.e. once a week etc)?
I have lost twenty pounds and am feeling really good about it. However, I still want to lose a little more. I tend to splurge on something like going out with friends like once a week or helping myself to dessert occasionally.

I've seen people lose weight by having a free day or are less restrictive during the week. I, however, cannot lose weight no matter how strict/lax I am so I can't say personally.
Congrats on your 20 lbs though!0 -
There is nothing wrong with having a bad day here n there good work0

Lost like 40 pounds by having two cheat days a week, usually weekends. Usually was going around 500 over my maintenance, maybe 1k couple days a month, so it was 1k - 1.5k at most over my calorie limit at usual days, cos I was around 500 cal deficit. Then maintained for a while also by having 1 or 2 cheat days a week where I did go like 500 over maintenance.
Probably effected my weight loss cos I imagine if my diet would be perfect 100% of time I would lose weight faster. But gave me benefit in long run mentally, for sure. ^^
Personally, as far as I ate good most of the time I still get good results. And I think that makes sense for most of the people. Ya know, like losing fat, drinking out glass of water and pouring some in - you will still drink it empty with time as far as you drink out more than you pour in.0 -
Thanks for the help!0
