Daily Calorie Goal or Weekly Goal?

Which helps you stay on track better? Hitting that daily level goal EVERY day or sporadic daily caloric goal as long as at the end of the week you are within your limits? For example, the past 2 days I was under my daily goal but today I will end up over...just curious as to what others think..

it's better to maintain a overall deficit. it keeps you in check. and you wont have the urge for those " ill eat more today and less tomorrow " crap. if you want to eat more, do some cardio. you know you have to have dinner at a place later, eat a little less earlier and eat more at the dinner. it's all about balance and time. You cant really go over your calories if you plan what you are going to eat. unless your plan is bad.0
