easy cooking question for people who cook...

Instead of potatoes, can I just stick some sliced up bell peppers alongside the pork and onions that I'm going to bake on 350 for about an hour? Will they just burn or will it work ok?

    They'll cook a lot faster than the other items... I'd put them in 15-20 min before the pork & onions are done, otherwise they'll be a mushy mess and wont taste very good.

    The peppers won't take much time. If you put it all in at once, they'll be mush and may end up making your pan drippings cloudy. The onions will take longer than the peppers, though. I'd throw some carrots in there. They will take just about as long as the pork. Good luck!
