I started at 132 on 06/07/13. Not quite a month in but down to 126 today. I am 4'10" and doing about 1200 calories a day plus exercise. Good luck!0

I lost absolutely nothing in the first month. Actually I think I gained two pounds.0

this is somewhat irrelevant unless you include height. a girl who i 5; 0" could theoretically lose 10 pounds in a month because she's much more overweight for her height than someone who is 5' 6". i'm 5' 6" at 140- getting below 140 is jut plain hard. I have to eat well 95% of the time and stick to working out at least 5 hours a week or the scale doesn't budge.0

I'm 5'0" and have lost between 4 and 6 lbs a month since the start of my weight loss (at which point I was 164 lbs). This hasn't slowed down much yet and I'm 116 lbs now. So I'd agree with the girl that says it's dependent a bit on your height - at 140 lbs I wasn't close to a healthy body weight yet, so the weight was still coming off at a good clip.0

I'm 4'10 and lost 4 lbs in the first month. I'm 1 lb away from being out of the obese category. I find that if I work really hard I lose 1 lb a week. If I'm not as focused half a lb a week is realistic...but I also know it only takes me 10 lbs to lose/gain 2 pants sizes. For taller people who lose faster they don't see the difference until 15-20 lbs (depending on where they are starting of course)0

I have lost 8 pounds in about a month. I started MFP at 141.5 and am now 133. I went from 157 to 141.5 over two years of lifestyle change, not dieting. However, since starting MFP I changed my exercise routine drastically. I went from only walking to running every day 5-6 days a week. I think this is a lot for one month, and don't expect this to continue, but it is what it is. By the way, I'm 5'4 and 23 years old.0
