What is healthy that I can add to canned unsalted green beans to give them some flavor?

Mrs. Dash has a ton of different sodium free spice mixes that are really good. I also love dill weed so I usually just put that on my veggies. But garlic, onion powder or onion flakes all delicious :)

Make a salad by mixing them with some finely chopped or sliced red onion, extra virgin olive oil, vinegar or lemon juice and salt & pepper. Not much salt those since they are salted already.

a very small amount of light feta crumbled, tiny sprinkling of crushed toasted walnuts and a tiny drizzle of olive oil mixed well through steamed green beans (while they're still warm) is a delicious salad/side.

Add a can of diced tomatoes (or dice fresh tomatoes). Add onions if you like for more flavor.

Wyler's No Salt Chicken Broth (powder in a jar) adds great flavor.

Bravas sauce - tinned tomatoes, minced garlic, paprika and a dash of red wine vinegar

    stumeg's idea is delish

I'm going to go for a Chinese rendering with sesame and ginger - grate a small knob of fresh ginger, crush a clove of garlic. Cook both for a minute in a little sesame oil. Toss through the green beans. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

I like a little lemon juice and lemon pepper. Delish! And you aren't adding any significant calories either.
