DESPERATE IN NORTH CAROLINA

My weight is coming off in slivers at a time. Since March 28th, I have lost 8 measly pounds. My Mom joined a month ago and has lost 14, and she's 72!!! I'm drinking the water, staying under my calorie range, exercising nearly every day by riding my bike at least forty-five minutes a day, gardening, watching my carbs...and the scale does. not. move. I'm thisclose to trying garcinia cambogia. I'm so discouraged and feeling so hopeless. It is not an option for me to quit because at least out of all of this, my blood sugars have totally normalized, but C'MON!!!! Throw me a bone!

Opening your diary would really help.

    Hi Tracy,
I looked at your diary and think you need to add more protein to your day.
    Hope this helps.
Have a great day :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:

meds can slow down the process...

You have a great profile and until you get the great American novel published if you have the time perhaps blogging about your journey would help... your wit I am sure would make a good read... I'll follow it..

You might need to increase your metformin - ask your doctor. Usually you increase it gradually (to allow your bowels to adjust - sorry!!). If you aren't having any side effects, you might ask your doctor about increasing to help you lose weight, and then go down and off of it when everything is under control.
