It can be hard to stay with it for long lengths of time. You have to remember what you are doing this for. It is a life change. If you only diet to lose the weight and then go back to old habits you will gain it all back. That is exactly what happened to me, so I am speaking from experience. Do not change what you have been doing. Do not give up on you! You can do this. You have done good so far now just keep going, one day at a time. You can do this :)

Jennifer has it right, i am with you though, lost a lot, now trying hard to lose the last few pounds

I think one thing using MFP has taught me, and perhaps you, is at least we are aware of calories, and what should be trimmed back, does not always work of course, but tomorrow is a fresh start

We all find it tough going sometimes... you work so hard to take off the pounds, and a holiday can put 2 or 3 back on in no time!! May help to find what triggers you to eat 'off plan'. I find if I have not planned the meals in advance, I will hit the crisps and dips while I decide what to have, especially if I am coming in from meetings and tired.
Logging early in the day can help me. I know some others have had 'spike' days, when you eat a lot more than usual, which can then sometimes fool your body when you go back to the plan.
It also helps to keep reminding yourself of how far you have come, and how far you still have to go... I have recently been wearing a trouser suit which I can JUST get into now, but it is really too tight... if I wear it, it reminds me of how I really mustn't let myself be tempted!!!
I have also set myself challenges to keep up the exercise... I have entered the Great South Run in Portsmouth at the end of October, even though I am not at all athletic... and can only run 200 yds before I have to slow to a brisk walk. But there is a great training schedule, and when I started could not even run 100 yds, so I am progressing, and as the clock is ticking to October, am very much aware I need to keep doing my practices!
Good luck - you CAN do it!!

Good for you, losing 64lbs! That is awesome! I'm looking to lose 80lbs and have just gotten started here on MFP. One thing that has helped me a lot is exercising, in some form, everyday. Now that I'm seeing the link in black and white between what I eat, how much I eat and how much more I can eat if I exercise, I exercise at least 6 days a week. If you're already exercising, try something new; your body may be bored with what you're doing now. I've just gotten back into tai chi, and I love it. My thighs are groaning, but that's a good way to boost metabolism and muscle mass, which will help you lose even more pounds. Keep up the good work!!!
