New to this and need to lose baby weight

Hi there,

I just joined today and am already liking what I see! I just had a baby girl on 5/7/13. My pre-pregnancy weight was 128lbs, I gained a total of 28lbs while pregnant and now I have reached a plateau of 144lbs. I am looking to get down to 125lbs and hoping it goes well for me. I have never been good at diets so I thought maybe this would help because I could still eat what I want just in moderation. Anyone else have a baby and having a hard time losing the weight?

    My fitness pal does help cause it keeps you accountable...but unfortunatly you still can't eat whatever you want and lose weight. You can eat candy bars all day and meet your calorie goal. You will lose weight but you will cause your bloodsugar to spike and you'll end up super hungry for most of the day. And as soon as you start eating normally again, you'll gain it all back.

    What do you typically eat in a day? It you eat whole foods - veggies, fruit, lean meats, whole grains and you stay within you calorie limit... You'll be golden!! Make the lifestyle change - just move regularly and eat well and the weight will come off!
