Ok so this is the motivational thread so ill try to do just that. Firstly, like many of you reading this, I'm no expert. I learn something new on here everyday.
I was 266 6 weeks ago and today I'm 243. I went from 266 to 252 in 3 weeks but then stayed there for 10 days. Yes I was disillusioned a couple of times I weighed myself to see I was stuck on 252 but then reading things on here I just decided this was a long term thing and I'd carry on as I was. 3/4 days later I was 249 and then 247 a week later.
My point is to say hang in there, stick to your weekly limits, keep exercising and moving around as much as you can and it'll happen. It can't not happen!
I'm super motivated and dedicated to getting the weight off and keeping it off so if anyone wants to add me for additional support feel free

Bro it'll take a good solid 12 weeks of hard dedication before you'll see real results. Expect to see the scale go up and down and all around. You're body weight can swing by as much as 10 pounds in any given day. In the beginning I'd advise worry less about the scale and more about taping. Measure your waist and neck and record it weekly. If you feel the need for weigh ins. Pick ONE day a week and in the morning to do this and only weight and tape ONCE a week. Log it and go by that. Do NOT stress so much about losses right away. Find your routine and pace get it get it right and solid. THEN worry about the rest. Without a routine You have nothing.0

Couldn't agree more Duc. I'm seeing good, slow progress which I'm happy with but I don't want to turn this into a success story I want as many people to realise that slow is better.
We're all doing so well keep going!!0 -
Slow is steady
Steady is smooth
Smooth is success0 -
Nope, slow is the best way to go.
Consistence and persistence is what will get you to your goal, whatever it is!0 -
I agree slow progress can be some of the most lasting!0

it is a marathon not a sprint0

Yep. All great advice. So if the scales aren't going down today dont worry there's always tomorrow or the next day.0
