Oh wait, wrong place for that
I'm not really an alcoholic, just a purveyor of bad jokes! My good lady wife (cherryd69 on here) has inspired me to take note of what I shovel down my gullet in light of her taking a very keen interest in what she is eating and what not. So, despite having joined MFP in January, I've decided to spend the next 7 days at least to see what I've consumed.
So far, I feel guilty for having hot chocolate at work (when work provide Cadburys Instant Hot Choc for free, when in Rome and all that....) and having milk in my coffee. Ah well, I need something to get me through a monotonous day at TM Towers.
So, hobbies. Well, the wife has probably informed people somewhere that I am a detailer of sorts. This involves OCD levels of cleaning of cars, improving them to far better than showroom condition by correcting paintwork and whatnot. I am also a keen guitarist. I used to play in a thrash metal band, but now am more sedate in my style of playing (think blues rock and you're not too far away). According to my loving wife, I am also a right pain in the proverbial.
So yeah, hola!

well Mr Detailer... perhaps you would be so kind as to tell me what is good to put on the hoses in the engine to make them look nice without being over glossy. We are going to a cruise in this weekend and have to get the car looking spiffy,0

Best thing to do is to clean them with a citrus based degreaser, then follow up with a product such as 303 Aerospace Protectant. Lovely finish without a gloss, think of it as a nice satin finish that you spray on and walk away from HTH
Works on all engine bay plastics and rubber quite nicely.0 -
Thanks. I will look for the 303.0
