Healthy cream cheese for bagels

I workout 6 days a week but when I like to have a whole wheat bagel in the morning sometimes peanut butter just gets boring what cream cheese can I use that somewhat healthy for my bagels? Right now I just a Philadelphia plain cream cheese.

It depends on your definition of "healthy," but sometimes I use a wedge of laughing cow cheese where others might use cream cheese.

REALLY thick plain greek yogurt is pretty good. I've tried that before. There's also the 1/3 less fat Philly Cream Cheese. I use that. You could try mascarpone too. But it's not as tangy as cream cheese.

I use Neufchatel. Tastes about the same, but it's a little lower in fat.

Maybe this is off topic, but have you tried hummus and nut butters that aren't peanut butter for yor bagel? I love hummus on a bagel, and you can even top with some veggies to get even more nutrition. You can put veggies on the cream cheese bagel too. I also like avocado on a bagel with a little salt. It satisfies that creamy and fatty craving for me.

They actually have this new cream cheese that is made with greek yogurt!! It's lower in fat and higher in protein then regular cream cheese and tastes really good! I like the thought of hummus on a bagel too though, gonna have to try that :)

Laughing cow makes cream cheese wedges now. They were pretty good. I like lowfat cream cheese on mine, but I dont eat bagels that often.

We found a part cream cheese, part Greek yogurt product recently that wasn't bad (sorry, can't remember name).
Also had a little more protein that regular or lite cream cheese.

Full fat/regular cream cheese is much healthier than light anything.
If it fits within your goals, there is no problems!!

Agreed. There is nothing unhealthy about cream cheese. If by "healthier" you mean "has less calories per portion".. just eat the light version, or other alternatives suggested here.

ETA: Also notice that "light cream cheese" is actually labelled as a "cream cheese product".

This. I use Green Mountain Farms cream cheese and Greek yogurt. The whipped kind. It's 45 calories per 2tbls serving and it's so good!

This is what I use, too. it is delicious!! They also have it in block form to use in dips and such. Good stuff!
