HELPP

I am struggling with lunches, Can anybody help?

I need something that is going to fill me up from about 1 til about 6.30..

Feel free to look at my food diary and give me any tips.. be brutal

    I always find I'm starving when I eat a sandwich for lunch, it just feels so small for me (all in the head I know!).

    Today and y/day, I made a soup which was lovely and REALLY filling. I would defo recommend it.

    250 g Passata
    1/3 can of kidney beans
    75g od chicken breast
    125 g (cooked) Wholegrain Rice
    150 g Mushrooms
    Spices - Garam Masala, 0.5 tsp
    Spices - Paprika, 1 tbsp

    I just bung it all in together and cook for about 15 mins and viola - super quick lunch for under 450 calories (65g carbs/31g protein/8g fat)

    For lunch I usually have a homemade sandwich/wrap or a pasta salad with tuna.
    I will usually have some fruit at lunch too. I also have a little treat if I need it, like some dark chocolate. I've started snacking on dried apricots and almonds before dinner.

    When I'm at work I force myself to take a homemade lunch with me as all the places to eat near work are very unhealthy!

    Today, I took 2 ounces of whole wheat spaghetti and boiled them until done, topped it with a filet of swai fish, and steamed cauliflower, broccoli, and mushrooms, then added a little teryaki sauce. It's about 450 calories and it's a large size dish. That's what I'm taking to work to pop into the microwave tonight when I need my supper since I work 2nd shift.

    Also, you can do large salads with grilled chicken, and I top mine with cottage cheese and salsa instead of dressing.

    You can do wraps, sandwiches packed with veggies, or sliced veggies on the side.

    You can make tuna salad using avocado instead of mayo.

    Check pinterest for low calorie lunches for work, or low fat lunches for work... You will find a lot of ideas!

    I went to greggs today and really struggled to find something.. ended up panic buying egg mayonaise. regretting it now
