I'm fairly new to the site although I've been lurking ever since one of my friends told me about the site. I wasn't in the right place in my head to start a diet yet then, but now, I'm ready to go :) Starting my new life plan September 1st and super excited about it! I have a LOT of weight to lose, my first goal is to have my scale be able to read my weight...

Well, the hardest step is the first one, and here you are - all signed up and committed! :) Welcome aboard and congrats on the decision!
Also, you might try using two scales at once and just adding the numbers, I've read that a few other people on here started that way or are currently using the method. No matter how you do it, it's excellent that you're here :)
  • You have the right attitude about calling it a life plan, that is the best plan ever..dieting does not work..make small changes everyday and you will succeed. Good luck and feel free to add me as a friend..

Thank you for the good wishes everyone :) So far it's been going really well - I'm eating healthier, and moving a little more, and my scale weighs me, which was the most exciting part!
