Maltodextrin

So, i have recently begun to use maltodextrin, about 80g (300 calories) after each training session. I just read this on the lable somwehere that this is good for you.
Yes i know that sounded stupid but i go after the school that as long as i get all the nutritions, proteins- all building blocks that i need for my body without overstepping my calorie intake (2.1k) for each day then i am good.
Yet these are very fast calories, and it feels wrong to consume as much of it as i do, if i workout 3 times a day (2h) then i was about to take 240g of this maltodextrin. It just feels completly wrong and i do wonder if any wise person could help me shed some light on this?
