Can't afford books on Paleo

Options
I want to embrace the Paleo lifestyle. I know a little bit from some friends that have been VERY successful. Can anyone give me some tips and or websites that I can look up the subject?
Any experiences you can share will also be helpful.
Thank you so much!

Michele

Check your local library - I've done that with several books I was interested in, and was able to glean plenty of info just in the time I had the book checked out. Plus it was helpful in deciding which books I might like to own, and then I turned to Amazon where I found the ones I wanted at a fraction of retail price.

Also check thrift stores - you never know what you;ll find on their shelves.

i have books on paleo and they read more like a text book. try http://thepaleodiet.com you will have better results.

i find a lot of great recipes on pinterest actually. the main thing is that you really need to choose grass fed beef...not only will you have better result for your digestive track but you will feel so much better.

the first 2 days were tough...i got a bit dizzy at times, having such low sugar and low carbs but after that i felt great

There's also a paleo/primal message board here at MFP. Lots of support and good info.

I agree with Pinterest! I have found SO many delicious recipes through Pinterest. And if you find one good recipe from there, and click over to the blog or website where it came from, make sure you browse that blog/website for other recipes. I have found some fabulous resources this way!

Here are a few random blogs/websites that I love:

    Check your local library.

Yes, yes. You pay taxes for it. Use it. And donate your books to it when you are done with them.
