Water vs Tea/Squash
Lithuria

Since starting with MFP I've been drinking my 8 glasses a day (well, except this weekend, has been a bit of a lazy weekend ^_^;;) but I don't count soda (I generally don't drink much of that anyway, and only ever calorie free stuff when I do) in that count nor do I count dilute calorie free fruit squash or tea.
I was wondering, however, if tea such as green tea (or even black, oolong or herbal tea, as I do enjoy most tea varieties) could be included?
I wondered because tea is said to be just as hydrating as water anyway, plus if it is dilute squash it is mostly water...
I'm quite happy to continue drinking all my water, but I just wondered if I was due to give myself a thumbs up for drinking even more through tea and squash consumption ^_^

Including green tea or black tea (if we're talking about actual tea bags and what not) without a bunch of sugar/crem added to them, are in fact pretty good. green tea is great in the antioxidant department. But it is said that green tea helps with weight loss as well. i'ver never drank squash so I have no idea about that.0

Really any fluid without caffeine can be counted. Caffeine is a diuretic, meaning that if you drink enough of it it actually starts pulling water from your system. So I believe SOME green teas can be counted, just have to check if it's decaf or not.0
