Walking on my treadmill

So today I walk on my treadmill. I was wearing my FITBIT it showed I walk 4 miles and burn 375 cal. My HRM showed I burn 469 calories in 60 minutes. And on my treadmill showed I walk 60 min. Burn 500 calories so I'm going with the 500calories. Which one would you pick?

I'd play it safe and go with the least amount of calories. That way, it's a win win situation if you actually burned more. Rather be safe than sorry.0

If your info on your fitbit profile is correct, that will be the most accurate one to go with.0

I don't have a fitbit, but I do have a Polar ft4 heart rate monitor. My treadmill & my cheap heart rate monitor from walmart always gave me a higher cal burn then the Polar. So if it's a hrm with a chest strap I'd go with that number0

I prefer to under-estimate by a bit than over-estimate (to be on the safe side) so I would pick the 375cal.0

I walk an hour on the treadmill at an incline of 6% and a speed of 3.7-4mph and avg. 500. So if you were about the same I would do the 500, if there is no incline and not a super fast speed, I would do the lowest. My cal count is from both my HRM and the treadmill count.0

The FB can't measure your heart rate your HRM can. Hopefully you have a Polar or equivalent with a chest strap. If this is the case the best suggestion would be to use the cals burned per HRM.0

i believe you still have to subtract what you would burn anyways by sitting, off the HRM calc. for the hour. Which would bring it closer to the fitbit calc.

I have a Garmin 110 Forerunner it has a HRM and is pretty accurate0

Fitness machines are notorious for miscalculating calories burned. Go with the fitbit that has your data (weight & height) calculated.0
