Paleo vs Primal

What's the difference?
Has anyone seen results with these lifestyles?

The primary differences (as I have read through websites and books on both) is that paleo is stricter....no dairy, no grains, small amount of fruit and lower fat meats. Primal puts dairy in the optional category, and places no restrictions on the fatty content of meat. Paleo would also strongly encourage a person to consider fruit as a treat, not as a daily or multiple-daily choice. The argument is that our paleolithic ancestors would have happened along some berries while out hunting and gathering, but would not constitute a regular part of their diet. Vegetables, on the other hand, are abundant. Primal would essentially hold to the same belief, however in a more relaxed way. Most primal folks adhere with 80% compliance while paleo would be much higher than that, 90-100%. Paleo folks are usually fully committed to the lifestyle and don't see it as a diet to go off of.

I've followed both. Primal is a GREAT transition to this kind of lifestyle as it eases a person into eating whole, natural foods. I got results with both, tho a bit better results with paleo.

    Best of luck!
