A tiny victory

Out of necessity, and a desire to not drive an extra hour, I went to the supermarket on my way home, and I entered HUNGRY. In my life bmfp, that would have lead to a few jalapeno poppers finding their way from the deli counter to my cart (and waist) at the minimum.

However, I walked out with raspberries. And spinach. And fat free yogurt. And sandwich fixings for the week ahead. And (no yelling at me!) diet cola. And a big old bag of cat food, since my cats are definitely not making a life style change.

However, my tiny victory is that I bought items that looked tasty, and they happen to be good for me, too. And I ate sensibly when I got home.

Woot!

That is great! Don't worry about being yelled at about diet cola, lots of people here drink it and (like you) have found success doing so! Be alright with that1

  • So proud of you! You made very wise choices which can be extremely hard when you enter the supermarket hungry! Way to go.
