I've been on my journey to fitness since January. Since then, I have lost over 50 pounds, starting at 177, currently around 124. My friends and family of course have noticed and have given me compliments but I received one of the best compliments yet today.
I was sitting in the gym waiting for my mom to change after our workout and comes up and says to me, "Excuse me, but can I ask you a question? You look really fit and I was wondering if you have any tips on how to decrease body fat"

This was the most amazing thing to hear. She probably has no idea how amazing that made me feel!

    i'm starting to get looks from the construction guys building near my daycare... I know they aren't very selective, but I'll take what i can get.

    Yesterday, while I was wearing huge baggy pajamas, my husband said "D***!! S***!! You look f***ing skinny!!"

    Which was totally romantic and I just about swooned in his arms, lol.


    But I'd much rather have the comment about being fit. That's awesome. Congrats.

    That's awesome! I was at a birthday party a couple of months ago, happily munching on raw veggies instead of pizza so that I could partake in the cupcakes. A woman at my table told me to go get some pizza "and put some meat on those bones!"

    DH and I went out last weekend and I met some people he knows. One of the guys had already had a couple of drinks, and told my DH, "Dude, your wife is HOT!"

    I take compliments where I can get them! :laugh:

    That's awesome! One of my pedicure clients told me I have really strong arms for someone so small. I almost LOL'd :)

    I was pumping gas in my sweaty workout clothes when a guy came up to me and said I looked mighty fine and to keep up the good work! The fact that it was a total stranger made me feel pretty awesome.
