Medifast

SO...I started Medifast today to see what all the hype was about. I learned several very important lessons:

1. The Medifast food is horrible to eat and helps to reinforce the need to eat healthy and be healthy or you will end up having to eat this stuff for months to lose the weight.

2. If you cannot stomach the food and you only brought the 5 packets of "food" for the day, then you are going to be seriously hungry because as a man who is 6'2" and 230 pounds I am not\w on a diet that totals around 900 calories. For the entire day. Seriously.

3. My appreciation for the bad health choices I have made has been heightened more than any seminar or health coach could ever beat into my thick skull. It takes torture and knowing you will be stuck in Hell to make a change.

4. The amount of money I spent on that Month's worth box of goodies could have been spent on going to see a dietician and creating a healthy eating plan that is sustainable and will make me so happy.

Please oh please don't make me have to eat any more of this! Alas, I bought a whole box full of this stuff...I don't want it to go to waste.

*CRY*

What did you order? I started for the 2nd time last week and for me, the food selection is better this time around. I tend to stick to the bars, (smores), soups and brownies as well as the mustard pretzels...the cereal is alright. Not gonna order some of the other stuff for the 2nd round...I've lost 3 lbs already. You should sell the rest on eBay if you can't stomach the rest. It's definitely not for everybody. I'd probably try WW.

6'2 and 230 lbs hardly sounds like you need Medifast. Chuck the box, eat the loss as a reminder never to do that again and eat some real food.

Did you say 900 calories a day??? Seriously and this is a professional place that advertises healthy eating?

Medifast is a MLM scam and I wouldn't be shocked if their diet plans are dangerous as well.
