Favorite Spaghetti Squash ideas?

Lately I have been on a spaghetti squash kick. What are your favorite ways to eat spaghetti squash?
Tonight I cooked up some ground turkey Italian sausage with sauteed onion and garlic. Added a little more Italian seasoning, black pepper, a can of diced tomatoes, and a little no sugar added Ragu. Let it simmer for a while. Layered the meat sauce on the spaghetti squash with some grated Parmesan and topped with some mozzarella and popped in the oven to warm up. It was good. But I am looking for more ways to broaden my spaghetti squash horizons
I especially love spicy, so if you have anything ethnic please share. But I like comfort too.

I'm new to spaghetti squash and have only made it once, I did an alfredo with it and it was delicious!

Haven't tried it yet, went shopping yesterday and am making it sometime this week, but looking forward to it!0 -
I want to try the Alfredo version too, and cheesy ones. I think cheese will be the way to win over my 6 year old0

The way we prepare it in my house is to toss it with unsalted butter, Italian seasonings (or oregano, if you don't have that), pepper, and Parmesan cheese (the real stuff, not that powdered crud). It always gets eaten up fast around here. We always serve it as a side dish.0

This might be a dumb question...but where do you find a spaghetti squash and are they labeled as such or are they just winter squash?0

starryvagabond - I will have to try it. I always buy the real stuff. Not a fan of the powder either.
jkmiller82- good to hear! I love to hear from others who have tried it. Now it's a must try for sure.
BluejayNY- I can't always get it at every grocery store around here, but usually a regular grocery store has it. And it is in fact called a Spaghetti Squash here. Look for it. It's pretty easy to cook and I think it takes on the flavor of whatever you cook it with.0
