Joined yesterday and looking for friends :0)

Hi all,
After attempting (and mostly failing) most diets out there I have decided to try my fitness pal. I'm a big girl (284 lbs) and have a lot of weight to lose!

I'm a bridesmaid for my friend in December and am determined to lose 56lb by that point. Is this possible? I hope so lol. Besides that short term goal I have a longer term goal of dropping to 168 lbs. it would probably class me as over weight but I haven't been this weight since I was 16 so it's good enough for me - for now lol.

As well as eating healthily im also planning on doing 4 fitness classes per week, for now these are step, aerobics and 2x water aerobics and various bouts of walking here and there lol.

I have four children aged 13,10,8 and 1 and am tired of feeling like a spectator in theirs and my life :0(

I'm easily affected by other people's attitudes and so with this in mind I'm hoping to make some positive and motivated friends to help encourage me throughout this journey and in return I will do the same.. Any takers? Lol
