Many people probably have no idea what it is, but I personally have had my ups and downs with Natto over the past year or so - going from loving it one day to hating it another based upon how I serve it or what brand I buy.

I was wondering if anyone knew how healthy or good for you Natto is and what are some good ways to serve it that are enjoyable and easy to eat (I tried it with uni and noodles and the absolute mess it made was unbearable - though tasted amazing.)

I may have some tomorrow for breakfast but not sure how to serve it.

    Never tried it myself, but I've heard only bad things about Natto, and it looks and smells disgusting to me

    Most Japanese have Natto for breakfast, but I usually have it
    at night with a little soy sauce and Japanese mustard.
    I used to have potato chips when I got very hungry late at night,
    but I've substitute Natto for chips and now I've lost so much weight (size 0).

    You can add Natto to anything.

    Miso soup
    Omelet
    Salad
    Tofu
    Stir-fry with vegetables
    Toast on bread with cheese and mayo
