I just wanted to share this with everyone. It is the swimmer's version of couch to 5K. It works you up to swimming a mile.

Today was my first day and so far I like it. I am also doing the C25K so I am doing this on my off days as a way to cross train.

Anybody else want to do this with me?

Hi Alexis. I'm in as I have just completed some coaching and I'm ready to build some stamina with my new improved strokes.

Can I confirm - is this one session and I do this three times (for week one)?

    4 x 100 yards (or meters)...rest for 12 breaths between 100s
    4 x 50 yards...rest for 8 breaths between 50s
    4 x 25 yards...rest for 4 breaths between 25s

It's more than I've done for a while but I need to notch it up a bit.
  • Me! I'm a horrible swimmer but I would love to get better!

Yup...you've got. Despite not swimming in over 3 years, I was able to do it but was tired at the end. Glad to have some support.
