I don't know if this has been shared before, but I was searching around for a calorie counter to use for a personal recipe and found this: http://caloriecount.about.com/cc/recipe_analysis.php You plug in all your ingredients and it basically comes up with a nutrition facts table, then tells you the things you can improve in your recipe (For example, I'm making chocolate chip greek yogurt muffins at the moment and it unsurprisingly says I could use less sugar.).

Hope this is useful for someone! It seems about accurate compared to my plugging of every individual ingredient into myfitnesspal, then dividing by the servings.

WOW! That web site is amazing!! I just double-checked a few recipes I had calculated with MFP and the results are comparable but SO FAST. Will be using it from now on.

    THANKS!!

I don't get how to use this. What do you enter? 1/4 cup fat free sour cream ?

It works great if you kind of know what measurement unit to use
For example it can not do 1/2 cup greek yogurt, it needs to be 4 oz greek yogurt.
but with milk 1/2 cup works and so does 4oz but the calorie load is different 61 vs 57

Gonna find this and bookmark it because I sometimes get frustrated with the one MFP has! Thanks!

This is great! Made some Tomato Bisque tonight and was thinking I'd just have to guesstimate the nutrition!
