I don't know if this has been shared before, but I was searching around for a calorie counter to use for a personal recipe and found this: http://caloriecount.about.com/cc/recipe_analysis.php You plug in all your ingredients and it basically comes up with a nutrition facts table, then tells you the things you can improve in your recipe (For example, I'm making chocolate chip greek yogurt muffins at the moment and it unsurprisingly says I could use less sugar.).
Hope this is useful for someone! It seems about accurate compared to my plugging of every individual ingredient into myfitnesspal, then dividing by the servings.

I don't get how to use this. What do you enter? 1/4 cup fat free sour cream ?0

It works great if you kind of know what measurement unit to use
For example it can not do 1/2 cup greek yogurt, it needs to be 4 oz greek yogurt.
but with milk 1/2 cup works and so does 4oz but the calorie load is different 61 vs 570 -

Gonna find this and bookmark it because I sometimes get frustrated with the one MFP has! Thanks!0

ETA: I stand corrected! It helps you convert the measurement from cups to ounces though.0 -
I don't get how to use this. What do you enter? 1/4 cup fat free sour cream ?
-2 eggs
-1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
-7 tablespoons all-purpose flour
-1/4 teaspoon salt
-1 teaspoon baking soda
-1 tablespoon sugar
-1 cup greek yogurt
From that, it would produce a nutrition facts label and warn you below that you're using too much sugar, alcohol is involved in the recipe, etc. so that you can work on making it healthier :flowerforyou:0 -
Oops, double posted! Just ignore this :happy:0

Will have to check it out later, thanks0
