I am brand new to weight loss and have no idea what to cook!! I don't really know what foods/meals are considered healthy. Does anyone have any healthy recipes which are easy to make and cheap? I am a college student don't have a lot of money, which sucks because eating healthy is quite expensive. Anyways, could anyone give me some healthy and cheap recipes to help me out please?

Smoothies are a staple of mine. It fills me up and it tastes good. I use 2 bananas, frozen berries, and almond milk. Sometimes I'll add some greek yogurt for some extra calories. You can add protein powder in there as well. It makes about 2 or 3 cups and it keeps me full for about 3 hours.

Salads are another nice meal to have. You can put lettuce, spinach, cucumbers, tomatoes, olive oil, and an avocado to keep me extra full.

For dinner I keep it simple. Rice, some cooked vegetables like broccoli or potatoes with some kind of meat.

Ratatouille - it's relatively inexpensive to make.....especially if you have a wicked ninja suit and a neighbor with a garden.
