- 2lb a week now I'm down to 1lb. Should I up my calories

I have lost 43lbs and feeling great but I have another twenty to lose!
I was losing exactly 2lb per week but now it's 1lb per week. (I know that's still good)
But if there's a way of losing two and eating a bit more that would be nice.

I don't know whether I'm not eating enough as my metabolism may be higher now I've lost some weight?

Shall I change my goal to lose 1.5lb a week and eat more?

I'm scared I will stop losing altogether!

I think it is simply that when you have quite a lot to lose, it does tend to come off quicker and perhaps now that you only have 20 left to lose, it is starting to slow down and your body is getting used to the new healthier you. I would say to perhaps increase the amount of exercise you do to help you burn off that bit more each week.
Congrats on losing 43lbs so far! :-)

If I want to lose 1.5lbs a week it keeps it at 1200 calories.
If I want to lose 1lb a week it's ups it to 1380 calories.
So I'm thinking of upping my calories by 50 for the first week.
Then 50 again in two weeks time.
Then stick to 1300 a week and see how that goes?

with 20lbs left to lose, you should be aiming for 1lb per week, so i would change your settings and enjoy that you get to eat more!
