Pirhanna 3D. I got the pleasure of watching that in the theatre in all of its 3D glory. It was like a train wreck....I couldn't look away.

Hemlock Grove on Netflix. We tried to watch at least 6 episodes and still haven't figured it out.

Sad because House of Cards was amazing...

I can't believe I have never heard of this one, or that it exists.

My kind of thread. I live for WTF movies. :)

    Even Dwarfs Started Small
    Happiness
Old Boy (Messed up but amazing)
Splice (watching that in the movie theater with my whole family was VERRRY uncomfortable)
Any movie put out by Troma. I'm addicted to those.

Splice was extremely disturbing to me.

I agree about Hemlock Grove (and about House of Cards being amazing). I just felt confused and slightly disturbed while watching it. WTF is up with that giant girl's face lighting up when you touch it? lol

This is the one I was going to post. My boyfriend and I watched that last weekend. Actually he watched it and I mostly just stared at the ceiling or wandered around the house because it was the worst movie I've ever seen.

Oh, I almost forgot...2-Headed Shark Attack!!

    tumblr_m0wovjLE741qhp3moo1_500.jpg

It's my own fault for wasting an hour and a half of my life. I should've run away when I saw that it starred Carmen Electra and Brooke Hogan....

OMG... I need to tell my boyfriend about this. He LOVES those kinds of movies!!

And in a similar vein, I watched about 3 minutes of 'Cannibal Holocaust' - funnily enough the scene with the actual turtle butchering...blegh. Nice music though, done by the same guy that did the Deer Hunter! (Apparently he had no idea what film he was working on, he just made the music).

I'm thinking this thread is about disturbing versus terrible quality....with that being said...

SPLICE. One particular moment left everyone silent....when everyone was slowly recovering....it happened again...but violently.

DESCENT (NOT the thriller/horror movie The Descent) This one is with Rosario Dawson and is totally weird. The end scene left me and my best friend very uncomfortable and completely shocked.

Completely agree. But I just couldn't stop watching. Trust me, it gets even more :ohwell: as time goes on...

ETA: Also, watched Spring Breakers last night. Good one, but definitely a ... wtf just happened?? one. James Franco and the guns :indifferent:

WTF is up with everyone on that show? I seriously cannot even figure it out. It's like Twilight meets a superhero biology experiment with incest, lots of teen lesbian action and a kid who likes blood play.

a short film by david lynch called "the alphabet"

If you have 4 mins check it out

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpxXx5Qf4HA

He's talking about revisiting Twin Peaks

    ! More Twin Peaks! Yes.

Eraserhead and Brazil are my two big ones. But to be fair... Both men who created those movies I have HUGE fans of... And in nostof their movies there many moments where I just have to tilt my head to the said and wonder what the heck I am watching.

Happiness of the Katkuris. Openning scene... Yeah.

Oh and I almost forgot about short films... These are my favorites, but they're very... Odd. To say the least. The first one is NSFW (drug references and cursing, but no nudity or anything), and the other two could be considered NSFW depending on where you work

On the subject of short films, here's one:

    Anna Is Being Stalked
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YYUgbMhrpcI

About 11 years ago, my sister and I were getting ready for school and were watching the Sundance channel and this short film came on. We almost missed our bus because we couldn't stop watching it. We were just so disturbed and amused at the same time. Even after all these years, my sister and I still randomly quote from this. I'll sneak behind her and go "Haaaappy Birthday, Anna!!" on her birthday. Yeah....we're kind of weird kids (even though we're grown now).

Also, someone mentioned "The Fly". That's a good one. Weird, but probably one of the more mild movies David Cronenberg has made in his carreer. To really freak out your brain, try: the Brood, eXistenz, Dead Ringers, Videodrome, etc...

I'm surprised no one has mentioned "Tidelands" yet.
I also recommend "Purfume: The Story Of a Murderer".

I just saw The Room. wow. This is part of a 1 star review: "This film is completely worth seeing. A friend of mine recently said it was as if a deer made a movie about human interaction, unable to comprehend what it is to be a human being. It is hilarious."

The thing is, it isn't a comedy. I've seen a ton of bad movies and this easily ranks in the top 5. The IMDB reviews are hilarious and the movie must be seen to be believed. It is a cult classic that packs movie theaters now. It came out in 2003 and I can't believe I didn't know about it until today.
    Time to order the DVD!

    I did naaht...oh, hi Mark!
