Getting Serious About Shedding Some Pounds

Hi All,
I'm 51 - female and the pounds have seemingly jumped onto me (think iron filings to a magnet). Anyway, Jan 2012 I started a weight loss program (you go to the place & weigh-in & track)...lost no weight - just could not stay on track.
Then tried another one (order food and shakes - supplement with veggies n fruit) - NOT.

Now I am determined to walk every day, count calories/sugar etc. using this site. I ONLY have 15 or so pounds to lose.... seems like such a LONG ROAD.

I like how each day the site tells you "if every day were like today, you would weigh ___ on _____date".... That is helpful motivation .

I show dogs on weekends, work in an office during the week... have a hubby and two boys (boys are 16 & 20).

    Hi. I am 67 and in a long battle with my weight. I try to remember that some days I lose the battle, but unless I quit, I have not lost the war. Today I have resolved to eat only fruit, veggies or low cal yogurt for snacks. I have a bad habit of eating more for snacks than for meals.Add me as a friend if you like and good luck,....you can do it.
