Hi! How often do you all weigh yourself? I am doing it every morning and see my weight flux by 1 to 2 lbs up and down every day. I get really depressed with the flux. What is that? Should I only be weighing myself one time per week?

If it bothers you to see those fluctuations then weigh less often. Your body can go up or down by as much as 5 lbs in a day based on water retention, waste in your bowel, etc.

It's normal for it to go up and down all day. Stop weighing yourself every day and getting obsessive about it and weigh yourself at most once a week, in the morning, after you use the restroom. It is even better sometimes to wait longer and take your body measurements instead which will be a better indicator of fat loss.

Weight goes up and down all the time. Morning weight after using the restroom will tend to be a light point. But each day is likely to be up or down. Weighing once per week is just picking a random point along that wave. Maybe you'll hit a high, maybe you'll hit a low.
