squat & plank challenge

Anybody else tried either of these? I'm 2 weeks in and already noticing some huge changes!! I'll be honest, I didn't think the squat challenge would be that hard because I can actually squat a lot of weight, so I started the challenge with a kettle bell in tow. HOLY MISTAKE! Once my numbers got higher (80) I had to alternate between body weight and kettle bell. It's harder than it sounds! But it's working :)

As for the plank challenge, I could already hold a fairly decent plank (a little over 1 minute) but I have had shoulder issues in the past (torn rotator cuff) and find it hard to stay in the same position for that long. Anybody have some tips for this? I'm still up for the challenge and fighting through the pain/sweaty palms because it's a surefire way to see some major tummy progress. Just wondering if anybody knew of anything else I could try! Up to 2 min 15 sec already!!

Please share your advice and/or struggles & successes with these challenges!

    Just saw this post today! I'm on day 5 of the squat challenge..70 squats tonight. And I'm starting the plank challenge today, it works up to a 5 minute plank. Needed some motivation to do strength training since it's so nice outside now.

    Yes! I have done them both! The plank challenge is really hard! I was stuck on 3.5 minutes for ages. So kept doing 2minute plank every day then managed the 4 minutes and so on!

    Just started the ab challenge....

    yes i got stuck at about 3 minutes on the plank challenge. it was so hard! i hate to admit it but sometimes if i just took like a split second break to wipe my hands, i made it the remainder. i hated cheating though!

    what's this ab challenge? i'm intrigued

    squat challenge was awesome :) loved the results!

    Its another 30 day challenge. It is sit ups, crunches, leg raises and the plank...again! Only up to 120seconds this time though!!!

    You start on a low number of each and it increases daily!
