Ridiculously delicious food suggestions.

So, this may be in the wrong section of the forum, but since the recipes section is typically healthy food and I don't want people bombarding me with healthy recipes (because how dare they).

My fiance and I live with his parents until December when we get our own place (woooo!) They are going on vacation soon and we will have this house all to ourselves.

This means I get to cook for him and cook whatever I want! But I have no idea what to make.

Besides each other, what are some sinfully delicious things we can eat while they are away?

*Note: it doesn't have to be "healthy." Since we typically eat once or twice a day, I'd prefer it wasn't some cauliflower pizza crap. Post your favorite meals, recipes, or suggestions plz! I also figured this thread could double as a food porn thread, so feel free to post pics.

For me, a treat (especially for this time of year) is artichokes dipped in mayo. I love it and eat it every week in the spring/summer. If you're looking for a romantic date night with lots of delicious food, check out foodwishes on youtube. I think Chef John has a whole playlist of valentine's day meals. Romantic dinners for two.

For something special I like to do Cook's Illustrated's rare steaks in a mushroom, red-wine demi glaze. I couldn't find the exact recipe online, but this one is close http://www.cookinglight.com/food/quick-healthy/5-ingredient-meat-recipes-00400000053108/page2.html.

I just made slices of tomatoes with parmesan cheese, baked it, then topped with olive oil, finely chopped fresh basil, and ground pepper.

If you guys love peanut butter like I do, make this for dessert. It's perfect in every way possible.

I also top mine with hot fudge topping.

    You're welcome.

Those both sound good! I do have a few ingredients I "can't" use (onion and mushrooms!) but I do love seeing the recipes, anyway! Artichokes dipped in mayo...I really don't like mayo but I may get some artichokes and dip (read: drench) them in REAL butter. Soooo delicious.

This actually IS the best Chicken Tortilla Soup ever :D I add a can or two of black beans, as well. My husband loves it and my brother in law made me teach him how to make it so he could make whole pots all for himself.

Super easy, too. Throw it all in and simmer. Done :)

It's also very easy to modify. I HATE onions so I dont put them in. Want extra spicy? Add more peppers. I'm a less spicy kind of girl so I dont put as many jalapenos in :]

Awh you didn't invite me over, boo? I am offended! That does sound like a good app though. Like, on a smaller scale. Whaddya think about a little balsamic instead of olive oil? That sounds yummmmmyyy! Holly, that looks delicious!

Why not both? They could have used a bit of acid.

My mom makes something like this, but with hot, buttered tortillas instead of the chips! And she adds avocado when she serves it!

I bbq`d pork souvlaki for supper tonight, and put it in a hot dog bun with a bunch of yogurt based tzatziki sauce. I also bbq`d corn on the cob. It was a deliciously yummy supper! Filling, but still kind of on the light side. Dessert is sugar-free jello. LOL

Pizzette. Deep fried pizza dough filled with warm gooey ricotta, mozzarella and ham. It'll make you think there is no other food on the face of the earth.

I am thinking Lunchables by candlelight? Maybe if I give him enough red wine, he'll put out.

That's the idea. Small-ish stretched out dough. Add some parmesan to the filling and close it. Add a little fresh ground pepper to the filling for some kick, and some fresh chopped italian parsley for freshness. If you run out of filling but still have some dough left you can fry the dough flat and ladle on a little tomato sauce with garlic and fresh basil, and sprinkle a little parm on for good measure.
