Been on and off of MFP for about a year now. Every time I use it I end up seeing some good weight loss, but I fall off the wagon. Been going good for a few weeks now started at around 404 and now down to 390! Could really lose some more MFP buddy's that can help motivate me. Hopefully I can do the same in return!

It gets boring, but its totally worth it. Carry on carrying on, the results start showing, you throw away your big clothes, and you have no choice to but to carry on getting fitter and fitter!0

I've decided that the easiest thing I've done in life is gain weight. And I think the hardest thing is probably trying to lose it. You're doing a great job! Keep it up! My hardest obstacle is the "Weighting" Game. I'm not good at waiting and I'm not patient. I want the weight gone now!!! I just keep telling myself that this is a job and I'm not done yet. And (so far) it's working.
Keep at it!!!0 -
my biggest or one of them anyhow obstacles is looking at the total weight loss I desire. Instead of looking at one pound at a time I look at I have to lose 158 pounds! each and every pound is a victory. And we are all worth it ! Congrats on your journey thus far. I had a set back but know that with continued hard work and making the necessary adjustments along the way I will be successful like pacsqueen mentioned I am also in that hurry up and wait non patient category I want it done and I want it NOw. Please feel free to add me if you wish0

I've been on here since late March of this year, and I have become slowly addicted to this! I never thought that I would become a person who would work out every morning, but having Jillian Michaels' videos in my house makes it pretty hard for me to find a good excuse not to do it. This morning was tough- I wanted to curl up with my coffee and watch another episode of The Newsroom on demand, but I found myself putting on my workout clothes instead. The TV can wait. I want to be healthy!
I think the nicest change that's happened for me is this. In my 20s, I was all about losing weight to look as good as possible which is why I got sucked into the Atkins diet. It worked fast and it took very little effort. I was in college too so it was really easy to eat bunless burgers, pizza toppings, and omelettes at the student center dining hall. Now I am interested in this for health reasons. I admit that I don't even get on the scale as much as I should. For one thing, I don't keep one in my house. If I did, I would be on it all the time and obsessing over every little loss or gain. I can feel it in the way my clothes fit- I've had to buy some new ones recently and I even think I need to get new underwear! But now I'm focusing on this because I want to live as long and as healthy a life as possible. My looks are a nice side benefit, but no longer the driving force0 -
Yep, the exact same thing happened to me. I got on MFP and was like 'Yeah! I'm gonna do this!' and then I don't. But I feel it this time. I need to change and MFP is a great place to start.0

Hey! Great start I started the weitghloss journey in 2009 at 435. I had bypass surgery and dropped to 285lbs. After learning nothing about true weightloss from that expirence I gained back 58lbs. I joined MFP over 2 years ago, but it wasnt until April of this year that I committed. I am now down 44lbs and it is all because of the help and support of my new friends here. I would be happy to be one of those friends for you!0

What a way to get back in the saddle and kickin' some backside, again. I need to lose a lot of poundage, so would love to be a supportive person for your journey, seeing as how I will be here for the long term. Add away if you would like! Best of luck!!!0
