Time efficient exercise...need advice!

Hi,
Without all the boring details, I have exactly 1 hour to work out everyday. I hit the gym on my lunch break. I have recently started doing C25K, which takes up about 30 minutes. What is the most efficient way to spend the next 30 minutes?

What I've been doing on C25K days is running, and then doing arm/core work (a lot of machines, which I'd actually like to get away from), crunches on a balance ball, some free weights.

On non-running days, I do 20 minutes on the elliptical and then leg presses, squats, lounges and some more crunches.

I feel like there's got to be a way to really maximize that hour so that's I'm getting max burn/max results.

(PS, I also bike as transportation around Brooklyn so I do get some additional cardio, but this isn't always an everyday thing)

'Jillian Michaels 30 Day shred': is great to just get on with a work out. 3 Levels of intensity to build you up. Very good for toning.

This is what you're going to do. Before you do your running, go do three sets of squats. The next day do three sets of bench, day after that do dead lift, and then next you'll press. Look up 5/3/1 "I'm not doing jacksh!t template" (they actually write *kitten* with an "i" but MFP will censor). This is my go to recommendation for people that are pressed for time (or lazy). If you want, you could even make it one day bench + squat and the other dead lift + press. In the beginning, you can get away with a lot more frequency without interfering with recovery because your weights will be light.

Right now I'm doing Jillian Michael's Body Revolution (I'm not sure if you would be interested in doing a 90 day program though). None of the work outs go over 30 minutes and the exercises dvds change every 2 weeks, so you aren't stuck doing the same thing for 12 weeks.

Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shed is also really good. It works out all parts of your body so you'll be doing strength training, cardio, and ab work in one workout. 30DS is really nice since you don't necessarily have to do the whole 30 days, instead you can use it as a work out here and there.

I cannot do any at home DVDs or anything like that- the gym is 2 blocks from my office, so I have to work out there

JNL Fusion: Exercise program by Jennifer Nicole Lee; celebrity fitness model. Most of her videos are 30 min and she alternates between 30 sec of cardio and 30 sec of strength training. I happen to enjoy it, and it's quite challenging for me.

Like I said, I do not have the option to work out at home. I can only go at lunch and to the gym.
