Vegetarian Buffalo Chik'n Dip (made with Quorn) - with PICS!
Who says vegetarians can't enjoy buffalo chicken dip? Try this meat-free version! It's delicious!!!! :bigsmile:
2 bags of Quorn Chik'n Tenders
1 cup of vegetable stock
1 12 oz bottle of Frank's Red Hot Sauce
2 8 oz packages of cream cheese
1 cup of Ranch dressing
2 bags of shredded cheese (I use mild cheddar and colby jack)
3 tbs of Cholula Original Hot sauce (if desired)
Saute frozen Quorn tenders with vegetable stock
Finely chop cooked Quorn tenders.
Over medium heat, mix Quorn tenders with cream cheese and Frank's Red Hot sauce.
Add Ranch dressing and 1 bag of shredded cheese and mix until smooth.
Poor into a 9x13 inch casserole dish.
Drizzle Cholula over top of casserole (if desired)
Sprinkle 2nd bag of shredded cheese on top.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
Eat with crackers of your choosing and/or celery. Enjoy!!!

i just throw everything in a crock pot and heat on high for 1.5 hours, much easier than baking and stays hot!
here's my light recipe (substitute veg chicken if you want)
- 2 12.5 OZ cans white meat chicken, drained,
- 1 C frank's hot sauce (less if want less spicy)
- 1 C light ranch dressing
- 2 C 2% sharp cheddar cheese
- 16 oz reduced fat cream cheese
throw it all into the crock pot and forget about it, serve with celery, multi grain tortilla chips, baked tortilla chips, pita, etc.0 -
