I am eating 1500 calories per day, but I am SURE I will be burning some extra calories on days that I will be doing heavy duty strength training. I know that when you log cardio, you earn extra calories to eat but this doesn't appear to be the case for logging strength exercises. How do all of you account for calories burned on strength training days?

^ This. I searched around for some good estimates of calories burned and slowly adjusted the number until it worked, based on my loss and gain rates.0 -
I usually record both, to get the calories I record weight lifting in cardio but I also record exactly what I do in strength to see my progress and help calculate what areas I am working on too much and what areas I need to work on more. It also helps me see my progress in strength, like in one area I could only do about 3 sets of 10 reps, now I can do 4 sets of 15 reps, it helps boost my little confidence as well as when I gain weight I can see its muscle.0
