what to eat on a traveling vacation

so my husband will be home soon for a short time, and he loves junk food. we will be taking some vacation as well as sitting around the house. i think i will be ok while camping, as i will be in charge of cooking just like at home. but what do you all eat when you are away from home and have 3 kids (4 including the husband) who wants McD's or BK? suggestions and tips all welcome. bashing my super skinny, junk food loving, husband is not welcome.

    You can sometimes find sites that list the healthiest options at fast food restaurants if you absolutely have to go. You could research ahead of time so you are prepared when you get there. It's not the most ideal, but it is a small solution.
