    I was once surprised by seeing a woman my age taller than myself. When I asked her, ever so empathetically, how tall she was, she told me 5'13".

    I'm 5'11 3/4." I hate to round because I don't want to claim 6ft. My height has always been a problem for me, because all of my friends are much shorter (and not to mention skinnier), and I've always stuck out like a sore thumb. It's hard to go shopping with them and to go out in public feeling the way I do, being tall and overweight. I'd love to make some friends who I can relate to. Add me please! and let me know where you found me!

    I KNOW! I hate that, because I'm a shoe FANATIC. I recently bought a pair of 6-inch heels. I rarely ever wear them, because I'm so tall and I hate it!

    I also love that comeback.

    5.11 is tall where you are? Come to the Netherlands, tall girls start at 6.3, and wear 4 inch heals on top of that. Its completely normal girls are hanging about at 6.3-6.5 in heals...but it helps that tall guys only start at 6.7...I.m 6.1, a short guy, and most dutch girls are around 6ft.

    i am 5ft 11 and 3/4 tooo but i always say 5 11 as then im not claiming ft ;)

    Maybe it's just my area but I'm 5'7" and taller than most girls around me, I always identify with tall girls problems, that's for sure!

    Same! I tower over most of my other girl friends, and I love wearing heels, which makes me feel even bigger when i'm with them :grumble: haha
