Too tired and too much to do. How does everyone do this and look so great. I was always the heavy person in high school. now Im way to heavy. I needed a change. plus after quting smoking almost 2 years agon in August. Its tough. Needing some more inspiration

Hi,
I did MFP for a while and the scale said I lost 6 pounds. Then I was off the plan while dealing with dental issues. I am back on using the eat more 2 weigh less approach of not cutting too many calories. I especially make sure I eat enough when working out.
I can't say if this will work for me. But, I suggest you check out the forum... I think it might be em2wl.
Remember that quitting smoking was a huge step toward health. Now the weight loss will add to that success.
I started working out regularly (again) 1 1/2 years ago. I decided I wanted to get in an exercise routine and didn't pay attention to weight. And decided not to measure either. Now I wish I measured because measurements are as important as the scale to track progress....especially when exercising. I would consider doing measurements.
If daily exercise is too much for you, plan for what you will do and feel good about it. If you do more, then that will be a bonus instead of reason to feel bad. Make sure you count a 20 minute walk at lunch as exercise. Every workout doesn't have to be an insanity type thing.
Something counts for something and it is a part of moving forward.

Can you exercise before you go to work? I do much better exercising in the mornings. It is real hard for me to exercise in the afternoon/evenings for the same reasons as you. I will have to deal with this next month when school starts back. I am going to have to make myself exercise in the afternoon/evenings. Not going to be able to do it any other time. Find what motivates you. What can you focus on that will help you exercise even when you do not want to? You can add me as a friend if you want. I try to be motivating and am on here every day. Good luck!0
