TDEE vs MFP

Questions for the masses -- first the background info -- I have seen several posts on TDEE and so I looked it up and it recommends 2400 - 20% for me which is about 400 calories higher than what I have from my settings on MFP using similar input.
So, the questions are - what do you use, have you done both and which was successful, and does anyone have similiar differences in their calculations?
Okay, so thank you ahead of time I really appreciate any and all input.

I've fond the TDEE method works best for me. If you do the TDEE method, DO NOT eat back your exercise calories. Just my 2c.0

Thank you. I think I might have a hard time just eating all the calories suggested. I hardly meet the ones I have now!! But, I think by looking at it I need more fiberous foods and protein so, I think the difference can be made up there. I do love my carbs though.0
