brisk walking = zzzzzzzzz

Hey guys,

I just got bad news from the doctor that i'm restricted to brisk walking only until further notice. I'm so upset about this. I began my fitness journey about 1 year ago. Oddly enough, next week will be my 1 year anniversary of a gym membership that i actually use lol
I take several classes per week from zumba to bootcamp, and I love them all. The classes not only help me physically, but the workouts keep me in good spirits as well. I'm so afraid that 'brisk walking' will bore me to death.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can make brisk walking fun or challenging? In the meantime...I will make sure I eat as clean as I can..and "brisk walk" the ishh out the treadmill :wink:

    Look at a map of the world and chart your miles to 'walk' to a place you've always wanted to go...

    I love walking! I turn on the iPod to fast music. I have a greenway trail that goes along the river so it's a beautiful walk. Are there any state parks or places with nice trails near you?
